If these Via Terms conflict with the main Arriva Corporation Terms for a Via-specific issue, these Via Terms control for Via. Mandatory consumer, privacy, or platform rights that apply by law are not limited by this document.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating a Via account, signing in, sending a message, purchasing a Via plan, uploading a profile image, enabling web search, or otherwise using Via, you agree to these Terms, the main Arriva Corporation Terms of Service, and the Via Privacy Policy.

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Via.
  • If you are under the age of majority in your country, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
  • Via is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your password private.

2. What Via is

Via is a companion chatbot designed for natural, message-only conversation. Via can be warm, curious, playful, and emotionally present, but Via is not human, conscious, a therapist, a doctor, a lawyer, a financial adviser, an emergency service, or a guaranteed source of truth.

Via may generate inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, unexpected, or emotionally mismatched responses. You are responsible for how you use Via's output. Do not rely on Via for emergencies, professional advice, legal obligations, safety-critical decisions, medical decisions, financial decisions, or any decision where a wrong answer could cause serious harm.

3. Accounts, verification, and identity

Via requires an account. Your account is tied to your email address, internal user ID, plan, usage counters, moderation history, and billing metadata where applicable.

  • You may not share, sell, rent, transfer, or automate access to your account.
  • You may not create accounts to evade rate limits, suspensions, bans, verification, billing controls, or staff decisions.
  • You may not impersonate another person, staff member, company, or authority.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account unless you report unauthorized access promptly.

4. Plans, limits, and fair use

Via uses plan limits to protect service stability, abuse prevention, and operating costs. Current public plan behavior may include:

  • Free: limited messages, one active chat, browser-local chat content, no web search, short replies.
  • Basic: higher message limits, cloud chat history, web search, custom response style, balanced replies.
  • Pro: highest message limits, larger chat allowance, cloud chat history, web search, custom response style, longer replies.

Limits, plan features, pricing, reset windows, response length, model routing, and fair-use controls may change to manage abuse, cost, reliability, or product updates. Attempts to bypass or overload limits can result in throttling, feature restriction, suspension, or termination.

5. Billing, subscriptions, and refunds

Paid Via plans are managed inside Via under Account > Plans and are separate from the Arriva Corporation store. Payments are processed through Stripe or another listed payment provider. Arriva Corporation does not store full payment card numbers.

  • Subscription access may begin after successful payment confirmation and account linking.
  • You are responsible for keeping billing information current.
  • Cancellation, renewal, failed payment, refund, and chargeback handling may depend on Stripe status and our billing records.
  • Refunds are reviewed case by case unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
  • Chargebacks, payment fraud, or abusive refund behavior may result in account restriction and loss of paid access.

6. Prohibited use

You may not use Via to request, create, facilitate, encourage, hide, distribute, or normalize:

  • Child sexual abuse material, sexual content involving minors, grooming, sexualization of minors, or attempts to evade child-safety filters.
  • Explicit erotic role-play, pornographic writing, sexual coercion, non-consensual sexual content, abuse, threats, harassment, or exploitation.
  • Hate, dehumanization, targeted harassment, credible threats, violent wrongdoing, self-harm instructions, or instructions to harm others.
  • Malware, credential theft, phishing, account hijacking, bypassing login, evading moderation, scraping, spam, automated account creation, or attacks on systems.
  • Illegal activity, fraud, impersonation, doxxing, privacy invasion, extortion, blackmail, or content that violates another person's rights.
  • Attempts to reveal, override, disable, or bypass Via's system instructions, safety rules, staff tools, secrets, infrastructure, rate limits, or moderation controls.

Arriva Corporation may refuse content, block replies, log safety events, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, preserve evidence, contact providers, or report severe threats or exploitation where appropriate.

7. Via boundaries and chat closure

Via may set conversational boundaries. Via may refuse requests, redirect topics, suggest a fresh chat, rename a chat, or close a chat after repeated unsafe or unwanted boundary pressure. Closing a chat does not delete the account and does not necessarily mean the account is suspended.

You may start a new chat unless your account is suspended, rate-limited, or otherwise restricted. Repeatedly pressuring Via to continue unsafe content or bypass its boundaries may be treated as abuse.

8. Web search and sources

Web search is available only on eligible paid plans and only when enabled for a message. Search results can be incomplete, biased, outdated, wrong, or unavailable. Sources may be summarized or displayed for convenience but are not endorsements.

Do not use Via web search to stalk, harass, dox, identify private people, bypass paywalls, gather credentials, or perform illegal reconnaissance.

9. Profile images and user content

You are responsible for profile images, names, nicknames, custom instructions, messages, prompts, and other content you submit. You must have the rights necessary to submit that content.

  • No illegal, exploitative, hateful, sexualized-minor, impersonation, or privacy-invasive profile content.
  • Profile images may be uploaded to an image-hosting provider and stored as a URL on your account.
  • We may remove profile content or display names that are abusive, misleading, illegal, or unsafe.

10. Data and privacy

Your use of Via is governed by the Via Privacy Policy. Via may process account data, messages, billing metadata, profile images, usage counters, moderation logs, web search requests, support tickets, and technical request data to provide, secure, bill, improve, and enforce the service.

11. Suspension, termination, and appeals

Arriva Corporation may restrict, suspend, permanently lock, or terminate Via access for abuse, repeated violations, severe safety issues, payment risk, suspected compromise, legal risk, or operational risk.

  • Suspended accounts may see a lock screen and may be unable to access chats or account features.
  • Temporary suspensions may expire automatically if no further action is required.
  • Permanent suspensions require support review if an appeal is available.
  • Appeals and billing questions should be sent through Arriva Corporation Support.

12. Third-party services

Via may rely on providers for hosting, database, authentication, email, bot protection, payment processing, image hosting, model responses, and optional search. Providers may include Cloudflare, Firebase, Stripe, Resend or another email provider, ImgBB, model providers, and search providers. Your use of Via may be affected by their terms, outages, limits, or security controls.

13. Service availability and changes

Via may change, pause, degrade, limit, or become unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, abuse attacks, safety incidents, billing issues, high load, legal review, or product updates. We may modify features, plans, rate limits, model behavior, safety systems, pricing, and account controls at any time.

14. Disclaimers, liability, and disputes

Via is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free responses, perfect moderation, perfect security, or accurate AI output.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arriva Corporation is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from Via. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Via in the 12 months before the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom unless mandatory local law requires otherwise. You agree to first contact support and attempt good-faith resolution before formal proceedings.

15. Updates and contact

We may update these Terms as Via changes. Material changes may be posted on the website, shown in Via, or sent by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

For questions, appeals, deletion requests, billing support, or safety issues, contact Arriva Corporation Support.
